After skirting the Llobregat river will reach the foot of the spectacular mountain of Montserrat. Through picturesque villages along the route we will find unique Montserrat, which rises majestically from the plain to 4051 feet (1235 meters) and has incredible views. Montserrat Royal Basilica has been one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Spain for hundreds of years due to its Romanesque architecture from the 12th century dedicated to the Virgin Moreneta (the Black Virgin). In weekday afternoons, there is opportunity to hear one of the oldest choirs in Europe: the Choir of Montserrat.

Unique natural park and a massive rock over 4000 meters high, looking to the sky; no roads, stairways, caves, chapels and hermitages scattered over the mountain, extraordinary landscapes and wonderful views.

We will visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, located next to the monastery and admire closely the sacred work of the 12th century polychrome carved wood of the Virgin of Montserrat.

Free time for sightseeing independently and visit the monastery shop to try different local liquors.

Payments

Rates can be paid at the end of each excursion directly to the driver in Euros cash, Euro travellers’ cheque. Travellers’ cheque has a Euro 5.00 charge for bank fees. Visa and Mastercard credit cards are welcome in advanced. Credit card payments are subject to a 5% bank fees surcharge. Booking 3 services: Livorno - Civitavecchia - Naples require a deposit of 10% at least of one. The final balance will have to be made at the end of the tour. Our rates are for vehicles NOT for number of persons.
